Cheap Airtravel is often searched for and not all that hard to come by. I know
that before I fly anywhere I look for the best prices on airplane tickets online
on one of several websites, I then do some things that most people don't do
to try and secure a cheap flight. You see, most people just do a search on a
website like hotwire and then stop. They are getting an inexpensive ticket but
they could save themselves more money by doing a few other things. Here is how
I always fly for less than anyone else on the plane.
After you have found the cheapest flight by searching on a travel search engine
then you should go directly to the source. If Delta is the cheapest price then
try the Delta website or see if you can get a cheaper price by calling them
on the phone and speaking to a sales associate. A lot of times you will find
that the airlines will run an unannounced special that is only available if
you either ask for it of if you contact them directly. I've saved a lot of money
on my flights this way.
Another thing that you can do is to make sure that one day before your flight
you call the airline and see if they are booked to capacity or overbooked. I
know that when I have found out that my flight was overbooked and asked to be
bumped I not only got a free airline ticket to anywhere in the United States
but I also only lost a few minutes, sometimes an hour because they get you on
the next flight or sometimes on a competing carrier if they have an agreement
with them. You could end up with a cheap flight and a free ticket on top of
