If you have ever read any of my vacation articles on cruising then you would know that I love to take a cruise, it is my favorite vacation. I have been a lot of places on luxury cruiseships and have enjoyed every moment of the experience. So if you are taking a cruise and you need some advice on what to do then I can give that to you here. Let me first say that it doesn't matter which cruise line you are on, there is a good time waiting for you. I have been on many ships including Princess, Carnival and Royal Caribbean and have never had a bad cruise, so here are some things that I do to make it special.

The first thing that I do when I am looking for cruiseships is to find a great deal. This gets the vacation off to a good start when I know that I saved a bundle of money on my cabin. My wife and I like to cruise with an outside cabin and we like to have a veranda. Now this isn't for everyone because some of you will spend all of your time on deck, but for me, I enjoy being alone and in the quiet. That is what a vacation is all about for me. So choose the type of room that you want first.

The next thing that you will want to do is to pack smart. Cruiseships do not have a lot of room for you to take everything in your wardrobe so make sure that you pack in a compact fashion. One thing that I do to save some room is to rent a tux when I am on the ship. This saves me from packing for the formal nights and it looks pretty good to be in a tux too when you go to dinner.

Of course I could go on and on about ways to enjoy the cruise but honestly the best way to have fun is to just go and do everything that you like. A cruiseship is like an online all inclusive vacation so take advantage of all of the food and activities that you have at your disposal. Most of all have fun and relax on your cruise on the seas.
