KeyWestVacation - Vacation in Key West

Key West is one of the greatest and most enjoyable places to visit, that is why everyone should take at least one KeywestVacation every year. My family goes down to Key West on vacation every February, when the weather is beautiful. There are so many different things that you can do when you are there that the time really goes by quickly. Here is how you can find some great places to stay on your key west vacation and some of the things you will not want to miss.

Usually I tell you to search on a place like Travelocity for the best prices but when you are talking about staying at Key West you may want to do a little more investigating. There are a lot of websites that deal specifically with lodging in Key West and they are an invaluable source of information when making your decision. There are hotels and motels as well as some great bed and breakfasts that you can visit. We have always stayed near southern most point at a b&b but lately we have stayed closer to the west end of Duval Street to be near the action. Call around to some of these places and make sure that you book your trip early because they tend to fill up quickly.

Some of the things you will want to see and do when you are on your KeyWestVacation are these. You will want to make sure you take in the sights as well as the great shopping on Duval Street. This is a great place, especially if you like t-shirts with stupid sayings on them. There is also Mallory Square where you will find some great entertainment as the sun goes down. There are street performers in the evenings and then everyone gathers to watch the sun set into the ocean. The nightlife is also a lot of fun, but a little shocking unless you are prepared for what you will see. You'll just have to see it for yourself to believe it.
