Yosimite National Park - A National Treasure

From the first moment that you lay your eyes on Yosimite you will know what it is like to truly enjoy what you are seeing. The views of the mountains and the lakes are truly breathtaking. They give new meaning to the word beauty. The best way to the Yosemite is by taking the upper road through the less traveled part of the park so that you can enjoy some quiet time before you go into the more crowded valley side of the park. The upper road gives you views of beautiful things it's true, but once you get into the valley you will see such treasures as El Capitan and Bridal Vale Falls as well as Half Dome that caps off the trip.

I had waited much of my life to go to Yosimite and it was truly worth the wait once I got there. There are many different things that you can do, which include adventure travel and hiking as well as just sightseeing. You have the giant sequoias that are so big around it would take dozens of people standing hand in hand to circle the tree. These old giants are a bit of a hike off of the beaten path but it is worth the walk. You can also see Lake Merced and find some great lodging in the park. They offer camping and cabins as well as some local hotels and motels that give you a place to stay.

If I had to choose one place to visit again it would be Yosemite National Park. I've been there once in person and a thousand times in my mind. It truly is a National treasure and one that should thrill visitors and vacationers for years to come.
